How to uninstall a Module

Uninstalling a DotNetNuke module from a website is pretty straight forward. Follow these steps.

  1. ALWAYS backup your website before INSTALLING or UNINSTALLING a Module.
  2. Did you backup?
  3. Login as a SUPERUSER (host) and go to the Host/Extensions page (host/module definitions for DNN Versions prior to V5)
  4. From the Extensions page find the module you want to delete and click on the Red X next to the module name in the list.
